Delivery Driver-Class A CDL Required

Convenience Supply Company (CSC) is currently seeking and Delivery Driver.

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Stack multiple cases of bottled water onto a hand truck/dolly and bring them inside our customers stores. Anywhere from 10 to 84+ cases.
• Must be able to work in a timely manner.
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a 53' semi truck with the assistance of a driver helper.
• Operate an electric pallet jack.
• Inform customers about new products and services.
• Complete DVIR reports.
• Accurately fill out invoice and credit memos.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Be punctual.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years of age for insurance purposes
• Must be able to lift over 25lbs MULTIPLE times at each stop SAFELY
• Available to answer supervisors calls at any time
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid Class A driver’s license and Medical Card
• Must have a minimum of 24-36 months experience driving a 53' Semi Truck
• No recent DOT-reportable accidents or DUIs
• Ability to operate lift gate, electric pallet jack and a hand truck in a variety of weather conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Must be able to stack beverages into customers coolers, lift and stack repetitive amounts of cases of water at locations
• Be flexible with a second route
• Be courteous towards employees and customers
  

Physical Requirements:

• 8 hours sitting, driving, lifting, and pulling
• 8 hours in and out of the truck, operating lift gate, pallet jack and or hand jack, repetitive lifting of 5-10lb items multiple times at each stop
