Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable
First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable specialist in our Lubbock Banking Center.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable
- Perform administrative duties for Management
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Create various daily and/or monthly reports
- Order supplies
- Post general ledger entries provided by Accounting staff
- Provide backup to Accounting staff
- Answering phones and greeting visitors
- Participate in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required
- Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent is required
- Accounts Payable experience is preferred
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary
- Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to change
- Enthusiastic team player, highly motivated, and a self-starter
- Organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs
