Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Level IV trauma experience and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Emergency Services department in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with a 6:45 PM–7:15 AM window)
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR system: MEDHOST-EDIS
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• No block scheduling

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Level IV trauma experience required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Solid color scrubs required (any color)
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• Parking is available in front of the hospital
