Dairy MAX Vice President - Communications
The Vice President, Corporate Communications is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping, advancing, and executing Dairy MAX’s enterprise-wide communications strategy with a strong emphasis on organizational strategy, long-range planning, and stakeholder alignment. This role ensures communications are not only reflective of the organization’s priorities but actively drive understanding, alignment, and confidence across farmers, boards, partners, and external stakeholders.
Partnering closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior leadership team, this role translates complex business strategies, investments, and outcomes into clear, compelling narratives that connect enterprise priorities to on-farm impact and industry advancement. The VP serves as a key architect of Dairy MAX’s strategic voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and credibility across all audiences, including an increased focus on investor relations and external financial storytelling.
This leader is the steward of Dairy MAX’s reputation, brand, and strategic narrative, driving proactive, forward-looking communications that reinforce trust, transparency, and long-term value.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy & Executive Communications
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to shape and communicate Dairy MAX’s enterprise strategy, ensuring clarity, alignment, and adoption across all stakeholders.
- Lead the development of long-range communications strategies that anticipate industry trends, organizational shifts, and stakeholder expectations.
- Translate complex strategic initiatives, business performance, and investment priorities into clear, cohesive messaging for internal and external audiences.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on positioning, messaging, reputation, and stakeholder perception.
- Drive consistency in executive communications, including keynotes, board materials, strategic updates, and high-impact engagements.
Investor Relations & External Stakeholder Communications
- Develop and lead a comprehensive investor relations communications approach, ensuring clear, transparent, and compelling communication of Dairy MAX’s strategy, performance, and long-term value creation.
- Translate financial, operational, and strategic data into digestible narratives that build confidence with external stakeholders, partners, and funding entities.
- Support executive leadership in preparing for investor, board, and external stakeholder engagements, including presentations, reports, and messaging.
- Ensure alignment and consistency across all external-facing communications that impact organizational perception and credibility.
Farmer Engagement & Strategic Communications
- Lead the development of a comprehensive, forward-looking farmer communications strategy that aligns enterprise priorities with on-farm relevance and impact.
- Ensure farmer perspectives are embedded within enterprise messaging, reinforcing Dairy MAX’s commitment to transparency, trust, and value delivery.
- Translate organizational strategy and investments into meaningful, actionable communications for dairy farmers.
- Strengthen two-way communication channels to ensure ongoing feedback, engagement, and alignment with the producer community.
Brand, Reputation & Public Positioning
- Oversee Dairy MAX’s reputation management strategy, ensuring proactive positioning and effective response to emerging issues.
- Lead an integrated public relations strategy aligned with enterprise priorities, brand positioning, and advocacy goals.
- Elevate Dairy MAX, its leadership, and its farmers as credible, trusted voices within the industry and broader public landscape.
- Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all communications channels and stakeholder touchpoints.
Advocacy, Narrative Development & Thought Leadership
- Shape and drive Dairy MAX’s overarching narrative, ensuring alignment between business strategy, farmer impact, and industry leadership.
- Develop advocacy strategies that empower farmers and stakeholders to effectively communicate their stories and perspectives.
- Leverage data, insights, and program outcomes to build compelling, evidence-based storytelling.
- Position Dairy MAX as a forward-thinking leader through thought leadership, content strategy, and external engagement.
Internal Communications & Organizational Alignment
- Lead internal communications strategies that reinforce organizational strategy, culture, and priorities.
- Partner with Human Resources and leadership to support change management, organizational transformation and employee engagement.
- Ensure employees have clarity on enterprise direction, priorities, and their role in delivering impact.
- Drive alignment across verticals and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure unified messaging and execution.
Board & Governance Communications
- Support the Dairy MAX Board and align with Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) to ensure consistent, strategic communication across governance structures.
- Develop clear, concise, and strategic board communications that reflect performance, priorities, and future direction.
- Ensure board members are informed, engaged, and aligned through high-quality materials and messaging.
