Moving Team Leader & Driver
Job Title: Moving Team Leader & Driver
Location: Round Rock, TX
Company: Pink Zebra Moving
This isn't your average moving job. At Pink Zebra Moving, our Team Leaders are the heart of our brand. We're on a mission to change the way people feel about moving by delivering a five-star, stress-free experience every time. We're looking for natural leaders with a passion for providing incredible customer experience to drive our trucks, lead our crews, and create happy customers.
If you're a responsible, energetic individual who takes pride in a job done right, we want you to help us build the best moving company in Austin.
What You'll Do (The Role):
- Lead the Crew: Lead a 2-3 person moving team by example, ensuring every job is completed to Pink Zebra's high standards of safety and professionalism.
- Be the Face of the Company: Act as the main point of contact for our customers on moving day, conducting pre-move walkthroughs, listening to their needs, and ensuring they have a positive, stress-free experience.
- Drive with Care: Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, adhering to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Be a Hands-On Mover: Work alongside your team to safely and efficiently pad, wrap, pack, lift, and move furniture and boxes.
- Finalize the Job: Professionally handle the final walkthrough, collect payment, and ensure the customer is 100% satisfied.
What We're Looking For (The Ideal Candidate):
- A Natural Leader: You enjoy taking charge and motivating a team. You lead by doing, not just by directing.
- A Customer Service Pro: You believe great service is a mindset, not a script. You're a great listener and problem-solver.
- Dependable & Professional: You are punctual, reliable, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- A Team Player: You look out for your teammates and understand that the crew's success is your success. You thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Energetic & Positive: You have a "can-do" attitude and the physical stamina required for a demanding job.
What We Offer (The Perks):
- Competitive Pay + Excellent Tips (Our crews are well-compensated for great work!)
- Paid, comprehensive training to teach you the Pink Zebra professional moving system.
- A positive, energetic, and supportive team culture. We work hard, have fun, and appreciate our employees.
- Real opportunities for growth into operational, management or sales roles as our company expands.
The Must-Haves (Requirements):
- Must be 23+ years of age (for commercial driving insurance).
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (valid DOT Medical Card is a plus).
- Must be able to safely lift 75+ pounds consistently throughout the day.
- Must be able to pass a nationwide criminal background check and drug screening.
- Prior experience in moving, logistics, or a related field is a plus, but not required for candidates with strong leadership and customer service skills.
