Key Job Details – Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Dallas, TX)

• Location: Dallas, TX 75237 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Local healthcare facility, Nuclear Medicine Unit
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500-$2560
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 15, 2025 – December 15, 2025)
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• On-call, floating, and holiday coverage: May be required
• Weekend coverage: May be required

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Active ARRT (R), BLS, CNMT, NMTCB certifications, and Texas state license
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Preferred: Experience in community hospital or Trauma Level I/II settings
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete all required onboarding modules and orientation

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures: cardiac, bone, brain, renal, liver, and cancer imaging
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Initiate and maintain peripheral IVs
• Operate Siemens and other advanced imaging equipment
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials per safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Float to other units and participate in on-call and holiday rotations as needed
• Accurately document patient care in the Epic EMR system
