Financial precision fuels our innovations at Unimacts. As a trailblazer in the renewable energy sector, we're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance department. In this critical role, you'll be tasked with maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of our organization. You'll bring your profound knowledge of accounting principles to the table, along with a knack for working comfortably with numbers and unparalleled attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities

• Staff Interaction: Professionally engage and partner with Unimacts Global staff to understand and Administer reporting requirements and resolve issues or queries.
• Management Accounting: Handle internal management accounting, including profit center reporting versus quoted prices and margin analysis.
• Financial Statements: Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger and various departments.
• Data Maintenance: Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting and verifying data and scheduling required jobs.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare general ledger entries, maintain records and files, and reconcile accounts.
• Payments: Prepare payments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, requesting disbursements, and reconciling accounts.
• Procedure Development: Develop and implement new accounting procedures by analyzing existing ones and recommending improvements.
• Financial Queries: Answer accounting and financial questions through thorough research and data interpretation.
• Monthly Accruals: Perform monthly accruals according to financial operations guidelines.
• Reconciliation and Review: Assist in reconciling Balance Sheet and P&L accounts at month-end and reviewing expenses and Direct Cost Accounts.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Accounts Management: Update accounts receivable and issue invoices, update accounts payable, and perform reconciliations.
• Journal Entries: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank account reconciliations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience.
• Cost Accounting Expertise: At least 1 year of experience in cost accounting, inventory management, production accounting in manufacturing environment.
• Analytical Acumen: A passion for working with numbers and figures, coupled with strong analytical skills.
• Accounting Knowledge: Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems like MSD365, ORACLE, SAP.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a focus on scheduling and monitoring tasks.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in all aspects of work.
• Start-Up Enthusiasm: Eager to work in a dynamic start-up environment.
