Job Role:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable


• Manage financial records and accounts for the business.


• Build and document processes for accounting.


• Produce financial reporting packages.


• Monitor and track budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial goals are met.


• Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the business.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of costs and revenue.


• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process improvement.


• Assist in the development of cost estimates and pricing strategies.


• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.


• Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any accounting-related issues.


• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for maintenance operations.


• Maintain organized and detailed financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes.

• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Applications.


• Must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for aviation.


• Proficient in accounting software.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.


• Knowledge of aviation industry accounting standards and regulations preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferred.


• 2+ years of aviation experience in accounting/finance, required.


• Experience in aviation repair station accounting, required.


• QuickBooks experienced required.


• EBIS software experience a major plus.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000
