Development Operations Coordinator

Description:

The Development of Operations Coordinator supports the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s (DSO) audience and revenue objectives by assisting in gift administration, reporting and analytics, data management and patron services. This position collaborates with the Manager of Development Operations to efficiently and effectively address tasks and department needs.

Gift Administration

  • Processes all gifts that are contributed to the Dallas Symphony Association and Dallas Symphony Foundation, including Auxiliary Organizations; Works with Manager of Development Operations to ensure that gift processing is efficient and accurate

Reporting / Analytics

  • Assists the Manager of Development Operations to develop and execute reports, dashboards, giving forms and other insights tools for Development team members and DSO leadership

Patron Services

  • Serves as a point of contact for patrons regarding routine tax documentation, payment matters, and development operations inquiries; Regularly engages in active relationship building and stewardship to grow contributed revenue
  • Other duties as assigned, including concert duty/event staffing
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or higher required
  • 1-3 years of experience in database administration
  • Must be a team player and able to work with the needs of multiple constituencies in order to meet deadlines and business objectives while prioritizing among tasks
  • Must maintain confidentiality and have very good verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and good organization is essential for all tasks.
  • Must be available for evenings and weekends
  • Hybrid work environment
