Security Administrative Assistant

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Administrative Assistant who can deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients.

Our busy office is seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, responsible person with a desire to work in a professional, customer service driven industry. Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report all suspicious activity
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Maintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)
- Completes incident reports as required
- Monitor and control access to facilities including visitors and contractors
- Receive incoming telephone calls and other communications and route emergency and non-emergency calls as requested
- Process property passes according to policy / procedure
- Process shippers according to policy / procedure
- Issue temporary badges
- Administers lock and key control and requests
- Sort mail & distribute it as needed
- Assist with administering pool vehicle database
- Maintain records and files for Security
- Arrange security vehicle maintenance & cleaning
- Maintain first aid & safety & security supplies
- Site orientations/verify approved parking permits and badges
- Controls daily media distribution for administration (newspapers, periodicals, etc.)
- Controls Security Office conference and meeting room usage
- Administers Lost and Found
- Coordinate with vendor and/or IS for service calls or maintenance
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete state security licensing, if applicable
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in an administrative position or front desk.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to pass a crminial background check and drug screen
