Material Handler

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Material Handler for a well-established company located in North Austin . In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, preparing materials and orders, and assisting with deliveries to jobsites. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, physically fit, safety-minded, and enjoys working as part of a team.

As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for:

• Stocking and organizing material throughout the warehouse

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Pulling orders based on provided material lists

• Pulling and preparing will-call orders for customers

• Riding with company drivers on delivery trucks and delivering materials to jobsites

• Assisting with the accurate and timely movement of materials

• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and organization

• Keeping a safe, clean, and efficient workplace environment

• Following all company safety procedures and guidelines

• Assisting other warehouse team members as needed

What you’ll need:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to read and write English

• Bilingual skills preferred

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Physically fit and comfortable performing active warehouse duties

• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Strong attention to safety and workplace cleanliness

• Somewhat clear background
