License Vocational Nurse Full Time Day Shift
- Patient Care: Assisting registered nurses with patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration (under RN supervision), and basic care needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Rehabilitation Support: Working alongside therapists to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and other rehabilitation activities as directed by the care plan.
- Patient Education: Providing basic patient education on self-care practices and promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately documenting patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment under the direction of the RN.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Assisting with maintaining a clean and organized patient care area and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed. Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Licenses or Certifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice vocational nursing in the state where currently practicing.
- Current BLS via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current ACLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross a plus.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional vocational nursing.
- Strong clinical skills in basic patient care, medication administration (under RN supervision), and vital signs monitoring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. xrczosw
