Job Overview
MEMCO Staffing is hiring Waterproofing Technicians for commercial construction projects in the Rio Grande Valley. This is a field position supporting waterproofing installation and related construction activities. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-focused, and interested in long-term, full-time work with room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and perform general waterproofing installation duties safely and efficiently
- Transport materials, equipment, and tools on job sites
- Follow jobsite safety rules and promote safe work practices
- Work independently or as part of a crew, depending on assignment
- Support team members as skills increase
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Comfortable working at elevated heights
- Able to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime when needed
- Able to pass a physical “fit for duty” exam (lifting, bending, climbing, squatting)
- Reliable transportation to various job sites
- Seeking full-time employment with interest in advancement
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior 2-3 years construction experience, especially roofing, waterproofing, or sheet metal
- Strong work ethic and commitment to attendance
- English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Own basic hand tools
Education
- High school diploma or GED encouraged, but not required
