PAY/SCHEDULE/LOCATION/BENEFITS:

• Starting at $16.00-$18.00/hr DOE
• Stone Oak area, San Antonio, TX
• Mon-Fri Office Hours
• Weekly Pay via pay card or Direct Deposit

MEDICAL ASSISTANT DUTIES:

• Clinical Support : Assist physicians during exams and procedures, take patient histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for medical evaluations.
• Medical Procedures : Administer medications and injections, perform basic lab tests, and prepare specimens for analysis as directed.
• Patient Care & Education : Provide education on health maintenance and disease prevention in both English and Spanish. Maintain a clean, organized care environment.
• Administrative Tasks : Manage appointment scheduling, maintain accurate patient records, and support billing, coding, and other administrative duties as needed.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant, hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant. (Candidates with a consistent work history in healthcare with no significant gaps in employment are preferred .)
  • Certification: Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required – candidates must be able to communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking patients

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Submit to a drug screen & criminal background check.
