Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
FMC Health is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team. You will develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, educate patients on disease prevention, perform diagnostic tests, and manage overall patient care.
This position provides primary, acute, chronic, and specialty care for illnesses affecting any member of the family with a professional, yet nurturing personality while consistently providing excellent patient care with a strong emphasis on wellness and disease prevention.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medication and perform procedures as allowed by state law
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies
Current State of Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care setting
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is a plus
