Position Summary:

The Busser is accountable for maintaining a clean and organized Dining Room, ensuring Tables are cleaned quickly and is ready for guest use, and providing exceptional customer service. Maintaining clean facilities including entrances and exits.

Duties & Responsibilities: (To include, but not limited to)

Responsible for cleaning tables in 2 minutes after guests departure to ensure table availability throughout the scheduled shift.

Keep floors clean, dry and swept throughout the restaurant.

Communicate with staff and management regarding guests and restaurant needs.

Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service.

Support fellow FOH & BOH staff in duties as needed.

• Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service.
  

Qualifications:

Restaurant experience.

Texas Food Handlers Certification

Works well under pressure while handling simultaneous activities and maintaining a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn our way of doing things.

Working Conditions

The working conditions for this position primarily include an indoor climate-controlled environment with minimal health and safety hazards, with occasional outdoor serving tasks for to-go food delivery duties for parked to-go customers and outdoor dining areas in various weather conditions. Indoor conditions include exposure to hot surfaces, heat lamps, noise, congested areas, slippery surfaces, sharp edges, and handling sharp, hot, cold, and wet objects. Outdoor conditions include but are not limited to exposure to various weather conditions, moving objects/vehicles, exposure to hot surfaces, heat lamps, noise, congested areas, slippery surfaces, sharp edges, and handling sharp, hot, cold, and wet objects. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, multitask, perform simple and repetitive tasks, attain precise attention to detail, control the work pace, follow instructions, handle confrontational situations, and work alone or in a group. Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position involve constant walking and standing and frequent bending forward and twisting at the waist, reaching above/below shoulder and chest level, elbow and wrist flexion and extension, neck twisting/turning/tilting, and foot pedal action, with occasional crouching, kneeling, and reaching behind the body. This position requires the individual to maintain balance while carrying large and small trays weighing up to 30 lbs over your shoulder. The individual in this position must have fine motor skills and must be able to lift 30 lbs. Sensory demands include hearing, speech, vision, spatial perception, and tactile.
