Personal and Commercial Lines Producer
:
The primary responsibility of a Personal and Commercial Lines Produce r is to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships in both personal and commercial insurance sectors. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, assess risks, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, industry knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients for personal and commercial insurance services.
- Conduct cold calls, networking, and other lead generation activities to expand the client base.
- Analyze client risk profiles to determine appropriate coverage levels and policy options.
- Educate clients on available insurance products and help them make informed decisions.
- Develop and present tailored insurance proposals that address each client's specific requirements and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and secure competitive pricing for clients.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and support.
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients' coverage remains adequate and up to date.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policy details in the agency management system.
- Prepare and submit necessary paperwork, applications, and documentation for policy issuance and renewals.

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, preferably in personal and commercial lines.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Oregon Property and Casualty License preferred.
