Manufacturing Planner Sr.
Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr. for the Production Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for orchestrating endtoend material flow, ensuring production schedules align with demand, and driving operational excellence across the enterprise.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Sr., you will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable production plans and maintaining accurate billofmaterials data.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and billofmaterials (BOM) plans.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
- Generate and manage move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests to expedite part movement.
- Communicate with all production sites and vendor locations, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Support travel and offhour operations as needed to meet production timelines.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secretclearance. A companysponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Experience with Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
- Experience with SAP/MRP
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
- Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, an interim is required to start the position

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
