Heavy Structural Engineer
:
The Senior Structural Engineer will develop structural engineering solutions, perform structural analyses, and support our offshore product line. The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will also work closely with other engineering disciplines, departments and technical staff to design, manufacture and install company equipment. The Senior Structural Engineer will report to the Design Engineering Manager (Structural/Mechanical Discipline).
Qualifications
- 8+ Years of Applicable Experience
- ANSYS Power User or other applicable software
- Non-Linear FEA Analysis Experience
- Fatigue Analysis
- Possesses Code Familiarity in AISC, ANSI, and ASTIM
- Knowledge of working with classification agencies DNV, ABS, and BV.
- Experience with heavy load-moving and restraining systems and general offshore structural design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Structural Engineering or related field
- Master's degree in Civil Structural Engineering or related field is a plus
- PE Licensure in Civil or Structural Engineering
Desired Software Experience a plus in ANSYS, Solidworks, Solidworks PDM, MathCAD, Microsoft Office Products

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
