Technician Level 4
- Responsible for conducting repairs, service and preventative maintenance work on generators and other types of equipment once properly trained.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in the shop and on customer sites
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Complete service reports and document all work performed
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical support and resolve any issues
- After hours on call schedule once fully trained.
- Previous experience in mechanic work or equipment repair preferred.
- New or recent technical school graduates also encouraged to apply.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Must have knowledge of theory, principles and repairs relating to internal combustion engines, electrical circuits and mechanical mechanisms.
- Equipment repair: Experience in repairing various types of machinery and equipment
- Heavy lifting: Capability to lift heavy objects as required
- Generator repair: Experience in repairing generators or power systems preferred but not required
- Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Service technician: Skills in providing technical support and troubleshooting issues
- Skilled in the use of test equipment and well versed in the use of computers.
