ServiceNow Developer

Who We Are Looking For:

• Mid-Level to Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and CMDB .
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow design, development, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management and Configuration Management processes.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and Glide scripting within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Experience in writing advanced server-side and client-side scripts including:
  • Glide API
  • Business Rules
  • Script Includes
  • Client Scripts
  • UI Actions
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration with external systems.
• Proficiency in XML , data transformation , and ETL processes within ServiceNow.
• Experience working with ITAM/CMDB data normalization, reconciliation, and enrichment for improving asset data accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and strong ownership mentality.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow modules including ITAM , CMDB , and Asset Management .
• Implement integrations with external applications using REST, JSON, and web services.
• Customize and automate workflow solutions to optimize platform performance.
• Work on third-party tools integration for data exchange and automation.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to improve CMDB maturity and compliance.
• Apply best practices for ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and solution design.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, asset governance standards, and data compliance.
• Analyze issues, troubleshoot platform defects, and perform root-cause resolutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes including requirement analysis and sprint planning.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
