National Account Manager
:
Cornerstone Building Brands' Apertures Solutions team is looking for a National Account Manager to effectively manage and support key accounts that will increase sales and form long lasting business partnerships, and assess new opportunities based on revenue potential vs. impact on internal resources and channel partners. This role will decide which suitable programs can be devised to improve overall market share without creating channel and resource conflict, negotiate adjustments necessary to programs to support optimum balance between channel partners, and grow sales revenue while professionally representing Cornerstone Building Brands.
This position helps provide resolution to sales, credit, production and after-the-sale service challenges between the key accounts, the outside salesperson, and the company. This person must be able to balance company policies and procedures, while supporting sales goals, margins, and customer satisfaction.
This is a US based remote role. The ideal candidate will be based in the eastern part of the US and able to travel 50%.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Represents the entire range of company products and services to the assigned customer while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company
- Develops trust relationships with a portfolio of key customers to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Serves as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolves any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to support trust
- Plays an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Leverages and supports productive, professional relationships with key functions and employees in the assigned customer account
- Coordinates the involvement of company employees, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance goals and customers' expectations
- Meets assigned targets for strategic goals in an assigned account
- Contributes to a joint company- strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance goals, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three - year period
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and confirms customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Coordinates all contract renewal activity for assigned accounts
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales/Marketing position with proven managerial capability
- A thorough knowledge of the building products industry and sales management experience in channel of business
- Problem solving and sales negotiation skills are necessary
- Ability to lead and motivate sales teams
- General knowledge of major competitive building products lines
- Effective communication skills
- 3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to develop and present training programs as needed
- Analytical/mathematical orientation are needed
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Windows based software such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to travel 50%

The US total target compensation (TTC) range for this full-time position is $175K(+) + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
