Must be available to work Tuesdays through Saturdays between the hours of 10AM-6PM. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate with an energetic personality to provide excellent customer service for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to style and sale outfits, create customer relationships and promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and service details)
• Answer customers' questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Complete customer transactions
• Complete customer returns
• Coordinate with the sales team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts, special offers, event details and our Groovy's Rewards program
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Style customers
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree

Requirements

• Work well in both a team environment and independently
• At least 2 years of retail sales experience
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to work Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
