Server Assistant / Food Runner / Busser

Position Summary: The Server Assistant / Food Runner / Busser supports the service team to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience. This role assists servers by clearing and resetting tables, running food to guests, maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, and ensuring prompt and efficient service throughout each shift. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service & Support * Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately. * Ensure food presentation and order accuracy before serving. * Assist servers by refilling water, beverages, and condiments as needed. * Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate needs to servers or management. Table Maintenance & Cleanliness * Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests depart. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server stations, and service areas. * Sweep floors, polish silverware, restock glassware, and ensure all service items are available. * Support opening, mid-shift, and closing side work as assigned. Teamwork & Communication * Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. * Communicate special requests, dietary needs, and guest feedback to the appropriate team members. * Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members at all times. Qualifications: * Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required. * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. * Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged standing, walking, and carrying trays or dishes. * Repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and reaching. * Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs safely. Work Environment: * Fast-paced restaurant setting with frequent interaction with guests and staff. * Exposure to heat, noise, and occasional outdoor elements depending on venue setup.
