Sr PGD Engineer - Operations Support (Flare/VAM projects)
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and KPI's.
- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
- Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues
- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
- Originate, review and sign project documentations as operator representative
- Review Verification documentation and ensure accuracy of ER documentation to meet verification schedule
- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- ~30% travel required
- Working experience as a technical project manager or operations support engineer on a variety of small-to-medium scale projects
- Strong engineering background with a solid understanding of energy or chemical process development. Specific experience with Coal Mine Methane treatment is a plus.
- Experienced at interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams in executing assigned projects (i.e., Originations, Development, Permitting, HS&E, Business management, Operations, Construction, Commissioning and Operations)
- Exemplary presentation skills
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and subcontracting)
- Familiarity with power and gas industry standards and equipments
- Familiarity with managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) on assigned projects.
- Familiarity with Compliance Offset Protocols
• Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field
• Completes assignments given in broad terms concerning general objectives and limitations
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
