Jr. Construction Estimator

Green Teams is seeking a detail-oriented person to join our growing landscape construction team. As a Construction Estimator, your primary objective will be to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to prepare accurate estimates and ensure profitable project execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project estimates.
• Review project specifications and identify any discrepancies or potential issues prior to bidding.
• Research and gather information on labor costs, material prices, and equipment expenses to ensure accurate estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management and clients throughout the bidding process.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing in collaboration with project managers.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate changes in the project scope that may impact the overall budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science is or experience as an estimator in the construction industry is preferred but not required to be considered.
• Knowledge of commercial construction.
• Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Green industry experience is a plus.
