The Child Nutrition Nutrition/ Outreach Manager, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations, will oversee the Child Nutrition Department's Dietary and Outreach areas. The role of the Nutrition/ Outreach Manager is multi-faceted to include being instrumental in making operation decisions to promote increased participation, marketing and nutrition outreach while complying with Federal, State and Local regulations.

The Child Nutrition Nutrition/ Outreach Manager, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations, will oversee the Child Nutrition Department's Dietary and Outreach areas. The role of the Nutrition/ Outreach Manager is multi-faceted to include being instrumental in making operation decisions to promote increased participation, marketing and nutrition outreach while complying with Federal, State and Local regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Business, Food Service Management or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of multi-unit food service management in Child Nutrition Programs or related field preferred Strong leadership skills
• Professional, flexible, decisive, good business judgment and accomplished problem solver Strong computer skills
• Strong level of natural and intentional organizational capabilities
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Child Nutrition regulations and policies Knowledge of Federal and State Child Nutrition meal patterns and nutrition standards Ability to clearly communicate in a persuasive manner and motivate self and others
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships External candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by employee
