Heavy Equipment Operator

Red River Waste Solutions is a people company that solves waste problems. RRWS needs to add key members to our team. We are a diversified service contract organization throughout the US that works with all levels of the government. The Heavy Equipment Operator; operates the bulldozer, backhoe, trash compactor and heavy trucks as needed. Hauling, digging and pushing dirt and waste. Grade covered areas and maintain roads and access to the landfill areas. Clean concrete ditches and silt fences. Pick up litter and debris from landfill sites as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records
- Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with the use of material moving equipment.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining a vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years Heavy Equipment Operator experience is a plus
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain before hire.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must complete pre-employment screening.
- Must have a three (3) year clean driving record
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
