Job Summary
Trophy Nissan, a premier automotive dealership in Mesquite, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager for our Pre-Owned Department. This full-time, salaried position will oversee and manage the sales team in our Pre-Owned Department and be responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive customer experience. The Sales Manager will be an integral part of our management team and will report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and manage the sales team in the Pre-Owned Department, setting clear sales goals and objectives to achieve monthly and yearly targets
Monitor sales performance of individual team members and provide training and coaching to improve performance
Set and maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that all customers have a positive experience at Trophy Nissan
Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to develop sales strategies that align with the dealership's overall goals and objectives
Keep up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competition, and make recommendations to the General Manager to remain competitive
Oversee the pricing and inventory of pre-owned vehicles, ensuring that vehicles are priced competitively and that inventory levels are well-maintained
Manage and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
Conduct regular sales meetings with the pre-owned sales team to review performance, set goals, and identify opportunities for improvement
Hire, train, and develop new sales staff as needed, ensuring that all team members adhere to dealership policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, inventory, and other relevant information for reporting to upper management
Qualifications
3 years of experience in auto sales, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory role
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a positive customer experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry and market trends
Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership-specific software systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
