Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary The Associate Director of Marketing plays a central leadership role within the College Relations division. This position is responsible for managing the creative team and overseeing the production and execution of all marketing materials particularly those related to paid media campaigns, recruitment, outreach, and special events.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Events, this role is accountable for the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing content for both ongoing recruitment campaigns and high-priority one-off projects. The Associate Director supervises the Graphic Design Specialist and Videographer and serves as the key liaison for internal departments requesting creative support.
The Associate Director ensures that all creative deliverables align with campaign strategy, college brand standards, and enrollment funnel goals moving audiences from awareness to application.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in professional marketing roles, including supervisory experience managing creative staff.
Experience in digital advertising production, CRM-based campaign workflows, and vendor management for print and promotional items.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Deep understanding of campaign execution and creative asset development across digital, print, and video.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Admissions, Outreach, Events, and academic departments.
Understanding of student recruitment funnels, especially for FTIC, adult learners, CE, and dual credit.
Proficiency in creative production workflows and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in marketing, strategic communication, or public relations.
Previous experience in higher education marketing and recruitment.
Familiarity with Element451 or similar CRM systems.
Experience in video production workflows and social media content development

Coordinate ad asset creation and delivery with agencies and internal partners to ensure on-brand, compliant, and deadline-driven execution.

Drive timelines, creative, landing pages, and channel plans.
Equip ISD partners and internal teams with turnkey toolkits (emails, flyers, social copy, web updates) and distribution schedules to maximize attendance and conversions.
Track RSVPs, show rates, and post-event enrollment outcomes.

Maintain shared intake process, set expectations, and communicate milestones/status to internal clients and leadership.

Implement A/B testing and nurture logic.
Attribute performance and report cost-per-RFI, cost-per-application, and cost-per-enrollment with clear dashboards and insights.
