Job Title: Software Engineer III Backend Systems (AI & Data Platforms)

We are seeking a Software Engineer III with strong backend development experience to support data-intensive infrastructure services and time-bound engineering initiatives. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, with exposure to AI agent workflows and modern development practices. The ideal candidate has solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design, is comfortable working in fast-paced environments, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and infrastructure components
• Build and support data-intensive backend systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver scoped outcomes
• Participate in on-call or operational support as required
• Follow established security, privacy, and engineering best practices

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language: C++, Java, Python, or Go
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience working with data-intensive or backend infrastructure services
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts or AI agent workflows
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud infrastructure
• Exposure to operational support or on-call rotations
• Experience evaluating performance, reliability, and quality of backend systems
• Familiarity with security and privacy best practices in large-scale platforms

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field OR equivalent practical experience
