Basic Function
Holly Frontier Corporation is seeking a ERP Programmer IV in Dallas, TX.
Job Duties
Conduct SAP programming duties for moderately complex and large-scale projects for the Information Technology Department; perform ABAP, Cloud ABAP (BTP) or Java programming; lead Mobile application deployments using SAP BTP platform; develop and deploy business application using Business Application Studio (BAS); conduct design tasks for moderate complex systems; work on development and maintenance of assigned systems; collect, compile, and analyze information for moderately complex system design; evaluate information to identify procedures, methods, and solutions; make recommendations to project management about current programs/activities within area of responsibility; serve as an integrator to the functional and business teams for technical services provided by the BASIS team, the client infrastructure provider, and vendors; develop practices and procedures to manage technologies; lead efforts to develop technical standards to support and operate technologies within the system landscape; lead a team on special projects as assigned and monitors work activities of group members to determine compliance with procedures and the achievement of objectives; identify possible conflicts or problems and informs project management; utilize tools such as Winshuttle or Evolve; collaborate with team to determine strategy and plan for systems implementations and upgrade.

Experience
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or (8) years of experience in a related occupation applying principles, methods, and techniques used in developing ABAP software programs in SAP, Cloud ABAP development; deploying mobile apps using BTP, personal computer (PC), mini computer operations, capabilities, and limitations; design new and revise existing ABAP applications and systems in SAP; resolve ABAP programming problems and better utilize computer resources; perform configuration and development using Business application Studio with BTP Platform; perform systems analysis work and conduct feasibility studies; and implementing large scale IT projects.
Education Level
Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or closely related field.
Work Conditions
Various unanticipated domestic and international travel by land or air required up to 30%.
