Temp Admin Support Location El Paso, TX (Lower Valley area) :

The Admin Support - billing works to support the branch billing teams and other departments as needed. Responsible for clerical support and administration for the billing functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Billing Team with clerical support and back-up for all of the following:
    • Verifies transaction information, accruals, and vendor details in order to post invoices.
    • Resolves unapplied funds in 2-3 business days, using research methods such as pulling batches to review detail, contacting customers, and/or working with collections.
    • Analyzes customer's open balances and determine the course of action to attain payment within the customer's established terms and/or to meet/exceed goals. Document internal and external communications and actions. Act as a liaison between the customer and operations to research and resolve customer inquiries.
    • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating transnational data and making adjustments.
    • Performs root cause analysis and develop sustainable countermeasures as needed to correct future occurrences.
    • Maintains accounts receivable records by entering new and updated customer and payment information.
    • Verifies receivable information and determine if customer is due refund for overpayment.
    • Reviews suspended and pending items daily to ensure appropriate action is taken once customer and/or collection team has appropriately responded to request for action.
    • Collaborate with internal and external parties to identify and reconcile issues
    • Assists in preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
    • Verifies accounts are correct by assisting in reconciling statements and transactions.
    • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
  • Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
  • Be able to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to keep confidentiality.
  • Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and write the English language with proficiency sufficient to communicate with co-workers, clients and visitors. Understand and adhere to verbal and written company policies.
  • Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy and task follow-through.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and other Microsoft Office products, preferred.
  • Polite, positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.
  • The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
