Server
Overview:
At Vino Grotta, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy exceptional wine and food. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, helping to create memorable experiences for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction : Welcome and engage with guests warmly, providing a friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Menu Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our wine selections and food offerings to confidently recommend pairings and answer any questions.
- Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation according to our standards.
- Table/Bar Maintenance: Keep tables and bar clean and organized, promptly addressing any guest needs or requests during their dining experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service and effective communication.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Promote Culture: Embody and promote the welcoming culture of Vino Grotta, contributing to a positive work environment and guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restautrant or bar setting.
- Knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus, but not required; we provide training.
- Texas Food Handler and TABC certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
