The Yoga Instructor will lead both individual sessions and group classes, focusing on enhancing clients' physical well-being through tailored instruction and posture correction. This role requires monitoring safety, motivating clients, and preparing equipment to ensure a smooth and effective class experience. Reporting directly to the Fitness Manager, the instructor will work independently with minimal travel required. Opportunities for professional development and involvement in special projects support career growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead individual and group yoga classes
- Correct client postures to improve technique and prevent injury
- Monitor class safety and address risks promptly
- Motivate clients to achieve their personal fitness goals
- Set up necessary equipment for sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in yoga instruction
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Ability to plan engaging yoga classes
- Motivational skills to encourage client progress
- Practice and understanding of mindfulness techniques
