Cosmetology Instructor - Remote | WFH

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive education and training in cosmetology, empowering students to develop the essential skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in this vibrant industry. You will inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential through engaging hands-on instruction and supportive guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of cosmetology, covering areas such as hair styling, cutting, coloring, makeup application, skincare, nail care, and more.
Design and deliver interactive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and adhere to industry standards.
Demonstrate and supervise hands-on techniques in both classroom and salon environments.
Provide personalized attention and support to students, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
Assess student performance through practical exams, written assignments, and various evaluation methods.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, techniques, and regulations to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student success and personal growth.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Engage in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the cosmetology industry.
Valid cosmetology license in the state of operation.
A current Instructor license is required.
Strong technical skills in hair, makeup, skincare, and nail care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and industry professionals.
A passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with a diverse student population.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Flexibility to adapt to changing curriculum needs and industry requirements.
Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in computer skills is necessary.

Hours and Availability:

We offer both day and evening positions, with the option for a partial work-from-home/remote schedule.
