Loan Officer Assistant – Licensed
This role is working in a fast pace office in office (59 & Kirby) area.
Key Responsibilities
- Loan Processing Support: Gather, review, and organize loan application documents (income, assets, credit) and submit to processing.
- Communication & Updates: Act as primary contact for borrowers, real estate agents, and vendors; provide status updates on loan progress.
- Compliance & Licensing: Maintain strict compliance with federal and Texas state laws, ensuring all loan files are complete and accurate.
- Customer Service: Prequalify prospective borrowers, answer questions regarding policy and loan products, and assist with loan structuring.
- Administrative Support: Manage CRM databases, schedule loan closings, and assist with marketing campaigns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Licensing: Active NMLS license required.
- Experience: 3or more years of mortgage industry or relevant financial services experience.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)- Encompass
- Knowledge: Understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Texas home equity loan guidelines.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and customer service skills.
