NOW HIRING: CONCRETE FORM SETTERS

MEMCO is currently seeking experienced Concrete Form Setters to join our team! This is a great opportunity for skilled workers looking for steady, short-term work with the potential for extension.

Job Location: Inside IAH Airport (Houston, TX)

Job Details:

• Start Date: Approximately 2–3 weeks from now
• Project Duration: 6–8 weeks (with potential for additional work)
• Pay Rate: $23–$28 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, erect, and align forms for concrete structures and drilled pier foundations using preformed forming systems
• Set anchor bolts for drilled pier foundations
• Estimate concrete quantities and determine appropriate mixes
• Interpret blueprints, read survey stakes, and calculate areas and volumes
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
• Perform rough leveling and shaping of concrete surfaces
• Remove rough or defective areas using power grinders and other tools
• Mix cement using concrete mixing equipment
• Assist foremen and other crew members as needed
• Mentor and train foundation team members
• Complete and maintain work records, field paperwork, and reports
• Support drilling operations when required
• Operate tools and equipment such as cement mixers, power trowels, hoists, and surveying instruments
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure longevity and safe operation

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a concrete form setter
• Must have a clean background (required for airport access)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must have own tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction
