You start your day reviewing yesterday’s work orders and incoming requests. With a fresh cup of coffee, you shape a forward-looking plan that balances urgent fixes with preventive tasks. By mid-morning, you’re aligning maintenance technicians to the most critical jobs, ensuring parts are ready and safety steps are clear. After lunch, you dig into maintenance data to spot patterns, refine schedules, and coordinate with operations so production keeps moving. Before the day wraps, you update records, track spend against budget, and note opportunities for training and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Design and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to maximize equipment uptime and asset availability.
• Prioritize and assign work by coordinating with maintenance technicians based on urgency, resources, and skill sets.
• Analyze maintenance metrics and history to identify trends and target improvements.
• Ensure all activities align with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to reduce downtime and boost operational efficiency.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting future needs and expenditures.
• Keep precise records of work orders, spare parts, and inventory management within the CMMS.
• Assist in creating and rolling out maintenance training programs for the team.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance planning or a closely related function.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Clear, collaborative communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Comfort working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
