• ​ This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union.
• ​ Responsible for American Airlines Credit Union’s real estate payments and servicing system administration functions.

What you'll do

• Manages the mortgage servicing systems that integrate with the core and origination systems and online banking.
  • Processes daily/monthly and end of day system close out and processing
  • Performs daily payment sweeps and system reconciliation
  • Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual member statements/notifications and year-end tax statements
  • Assists with maintaining mortgage servicing policies and procedures
  • Performs systems release testing and implementation
  • Serves as primary vendor contact for mortgage servicing systems which include staying up to date with the latest system releases to determine potential impact to existing or new processes
  • Coordinates troubleshooting requests from mortgage servicing department
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners and vendors to optimize departmental efficiencies
  • Manages work out loan process
  • QC Monitoring to detect/correct quality issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​ High School diploma or GED equivalency

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
• 2 years experience in Financial Services with working knowledge of Mortgage Operations
• Experience with system management and testing process
• Experience in real estate may include, but not limited to training, underwriting, processing or closing

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​Skilled in Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
• Knowledge of loan origination/processing systems
• Ability to manage projects in accordance with short and long range objectives
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and decision making skills
• Ability to work well under deadlines and high volume pressure
• Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
• Must have acceptable credit history, which will be verified
• Ability to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
