Control Systems Programmer

Reports To: AV Division Manager

Primary Function :

We are looking for programmers with experience in developing software in the following types of platforms: Crestron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, Extron, Lutron and others. Industry certifications from these manufacturers in addition to InfoComm certification (such as CTS) are recommended, but not required.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control systems programming for platforms listed above.
• Write program specifications; create system/user documentation and instruction manuals.
• Coordinate commissioning of projects with project managers.
• Understand and meet all deadlines.
• Interact with Project Manager to achieve complete and functional program.
• Provide end user testing, training, and end to end system integration.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in developing software in Crestron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, Extron, Lutron and other platforms.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience.
• InfoComm CTS certification a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Willing to learn additional programming languages and platforms.
• Knowledge of C, C++, C#, HTML5 and others.
• Ability to work in a highly interactive environment.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills and the ability to work with internal and external customers.
• Understanding of networking, infrastructure and network topology is required.
• System design and engineering experience.
• Biamp and QSC DSP programming experience gets additional preference.
