Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
• Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital Radiology Department
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025)
• Shift: Night shift, Friday-Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Rotational call and holiday coverage as assigned
• Start Date: September 15 or September 22, 2025 (strongly preferred)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1890

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with electronic charting systems (any accepted)
• Ability to provide clinical support to all patient age groups: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Valid Texas Radiologic Technologist license in-hand required at submission
• Previous travel healthcare experience highly preferred

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and vascular studies
• Operate advanced radiology equipment: Carestream digital portables, Siemens Agile and Artis Zee digital fluoro suites, Shimadzu digital portable, Philips Zenition and GE OEC C-arms
• Utilize PACS (McKesson) for image management and workflow
• Deliver bedside and portable radiology services for adult acute care, outpatient, and pediatric patients
• Follow isolation precautions and radiology safety protocols
• Participate in rotational call and holiday coverage as assigned
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to provide high-quality patient care
