Technical Program Manager - Cloud Modernization
Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager - Cloud Modernization to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
We're looking for a high-impact, technically fluent program leader to lead the execution of our cloud modernization initiatives. You'll lead complex, multi-team efforts, keeping large-scale transformation programs on track, on budget, and aligned with the business.
This is not a clipboard-and-status-update PM role. We want someone with an engineering background who will dive into technical trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and earn credibility with the teams they coordinate. You'll be the connective tissue between technical leadership, product teams, and executives, translating strategic vision into executable roadmaps and ensuring clear communication as we modernize our Azure platform toward containerization, automation, and observability excellence.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee end-to-end program management for cloud modernization: containerization, infrastructure automation, observability transformation, and ML Ops platform build-out.
- Define program charters, success criteria, and timelines, in partnership with technical leadership, and maintain unified roadmaps and detailed program plans that track progress and surface risks early.
- Coordinate across SRE, DevOps, ML Ops, Engineering, Security, and Product teams, ensuring alignment, resolving dependencies, and removing blockers before they stall progress.
- Facilitate program reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholder communication, including status reporting, executive updates, and cross-functional alignment, translating technical complexity into business impact.
- Track and report on KPIs related to program health, delivery velocity, and business outcomes.
- Lead change management to support organizational adoption of new platforms, tools, and processes.
- Coordinate with customer success and support to minimize customer impact during infrastructure transitions.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. You've written code, designed systems, or led technical teams before moving into program management.
- 6+ years in technical program management, with at least 3 years managing cloud infrastructure or platform engineering initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, while managing risks, mapping dependencies, and performing critical path analysis.
- Experience working directly with SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on modernization and automation, including familiarity with GitOps, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience with program management frameworks (Agile, SAFe, or similar) and tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with AI/ML workload patterns, infrastructure requirements, and AI tools for program analytics and reporting is preferred.
- Vendor management experience for cloud services and consulting engagements is preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification is preferred.
- Highly organized, action-oriented professional who drives work forward with clarity and momentum.
- Adaptable thinker and strong communicator who aligns teams, solves complex challenges, and excels in dynamic environments.
