Senior Finance & Accounting Consultant Oracle ERP

Role Overview

Part‑Time (Direct Hire, Non‑Exempt) • 20 hours/week • 2‑month fixed‑term project • Possible extension

This role focuses on conducting a comprehensive consultancy review of accounting processes, analyzing them in depth and end‑to‑end to understand current workflows and identify areas for improvement. It applies industry best practices and the most efficient methods for performing these processes across the organization. The role also develops and presents a clear roadmap with transformational steps to implement AI & Automation and related enhancements designed to streamline operations, remove roadblocks, and improve overall process efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, and ERP‑related roles.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles, with 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in Fixed Assets, Accruals, and Intercompany processes.


• Deep hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or EBS, specifically in:

  • Procurement and Projects
  
  


• 3–5 years of experience leading global finance transformation or large‑scale ERP optimization projects.


• Ability to configure and optimize Oracle Fixed Assets features, including asset books, depreciation methods, and integrations is a must.


• Familiarity with Oracle multi‑book accounting and its related limitations.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct a consultancy review to analyze accounting processes in depth, end‑to‑end.

  Apply industry best practices and the most efficient methods for executing accounting processes.

  Develop and present a roadmap with transformational steps to implement AI & Automation and related improvements to enhance efficiency and remove roadblocks.

  Lead process design and execution through workshops, interviews, and value‑stream mapping.

  Act as a primary advisor to senior leadership.

Pay Range: $100 – $150 USD per hour.

This range represents a good-faith estimate at the time of posting and is subject to periodic review. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and the cost of labor in the specific geographic location where the work will be performed, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
