As the Maintenance Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. This will include:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Develop preventative maintenance procedures
- Document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.
This is a physically active role requiring:
- Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.
If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!
QualificationsBasic Requirement:
- High school diploma or GED,
- Mechanically inclined, willingness to learn.
- By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance work experience including pumps, gear boxes and loader machinery.
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and OSHA training.
- As you will interact with internal staff, ability to communicate in English is important.
- The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
