Reliant at Home is seeking a dynamic Home Care/PAS Operations Specialist to join our Caregivers services team in Plano, Texas! Join Reliant at Home's winning culture - named to the Fortune Best Workplaces for Aging Services in the USA in 2021, 2022, and 2025 and certified Great Place to Work 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2025, and 2025-2024. : The Home Care/PAS Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of Reliant at Home's Caregivers service line by completing accurate intake for each new client and taking ownership of day-to-day agency needs. Duties will include entering new clients into Wellsky/ClearCare, auditing client paperwork, preparing invoices to ensure there are no billing delays, answering questions and resolving client questions, and other tasks related to policy and procedure requirements. Attention to detail is paramount in maintaining precise records of agreed upon services and services rendered. Additional collaboration with healthcare providers and insurance companies is crucial to ensuring clients receive the services they are entitled to per their VA or other long-term care insurance benefit. Effective communication skills are essential to work cohesively with managing directors, Caregivers personnel, clients and families, and other Reliant at Home service line team members. The Reliant at Home Caregivers team often bridges across Reliant at Home patients on Home Health or Hospice services. Key Responsibilities: - Enter new clients into Wellsky/ClearCare and audit paperwork for all necessary signatures, documents, and payment information.
- Close the loop with the appropriate scheduler to ensure the scheduling plan aligns with services the client has agreed to receive that will be reflected on their invoice.
- Troubleshoot with the client, family, or internal Caregivers team any issues that arise related to service plan changes and expected charges.
- Ensure all paperwork and client records are managed and maintained per survey requirements and policies and procedures.
- Facilitate interagency service rosters and participate in care coordination meetings to drive internal awareness/collaboration of patients that are on either Reliant at Home Health or Hospice services.
- Coordinate service and follow documentation and process requirements for clients whose care will be paid through VA or Long-Term Care insurance benefits.
- Work with the Reliant at Home Caregivers biller if assistance is needed resolving unpaid claims, denials, and appeals to achieve 100% billing success.
- Manage day-to-day office needs including answering the phone, responding and sending email, and any other needs as directed by Administrator/Director.
- Fully support and drive the successful intake flow of new and returning clients to Reliant at Home.
- Represent the Caregivers entity professionally with a commitment to facilitating exceptional customer service and client experience.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Care/PAS
- Proficiency in Home Care/PAS software (Wellsky/ClearCare preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
