Senior Director of Business Development
Senior Director of Business Development Location Dallas, TX (North Dallas area) : Formula Wellness Senior Director of Business Development Dallas, TX The Senior Director of Business Development drives incremental growth through market development efforts, with a concentration in acquiring high-end medical aesthetic practices (med spas), and through provider recruiting efforts within targeted geographies. This role can be based in Dallas, or the right candidate can be remote with monthly travel to Dallas and elsewhere as needed. Formula Wellness Center is more than just a medical practice. Formula Wellness is a comprehensive program that includes thorough on-site medical testing, customized workout and diet solutions, as well as supplements, injections, detoxifying IV infusions, and bioidentical hormone therapy designed to refresh and energize your body. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 10 or more years of experience in healthcare services sales, with a solid understanding of both revenue and expense drivers in the healthcare industry. 5 or more years of experience selling outsourced clinical services, M&A, joint ventures, or MSO/PPM partnership models to founders, owners, and C-level executives within the medical aesthetic space and/or other areas of healthcare. A proven track record of success in private equity-backed multisite medical aesthetic, hospital, and/or medical group development, ideally in Texas and surrounding states, with the ability to coordinate across multiple internal resources to meet potential client needs. Demonstrated success in M&A or complex business development environment whereby both the partner's service and financial objectives as well as the company's financial objectives have been achieved. Bachelor's degree in business administration (finance/economics) or similar; MBA or advanced degree preferred. An understanding of basic healthcare law as it pertains to M&A PPM/MSO healthcare transactions. A proven track record of experience within national or regional MSO/PPM partnership models. An understanding of medical aesthetics and wellness services is preferred. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES An accomplished business development, M&A, or sales mindset; driven to develop new relationships and achieve success in an increasingly competitive environment. Ability to understand both the clinical and financial metrics of the medical aesthetics and clinical wellness services industry, and to use that knowledge to negotiate contractual agreements that benefit both the partners and Formula Wellness. Excellent written, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills. Excellent in time management and organizational skills. Experience in deal flow and pipeline management + CRM, with weekly pipeline presentations to CEO and potentially other areas of senior management. Ability to travel extensively. Interest in and ability to contribute management expertise and experience to a growing organization. Strong belief in the company's services and desire to serve as one of its key external representatives. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships in targeted MSAs within the US. Plan and execute sales activities, including development of key target account strategies and the coordination of internal resources to affect those strategies. Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain Formula Wellness's business development marketing strategies and collateral sales materials. Develop acquisition proposals based on the unique requirements of each potential partner/client. Work with key Formula Wellness stakeholders to analyze the key clinical service and financial metrics to negotiate contracts that meet the potential needs and financial goals of the company and its potential partners. Participate in contract negotiations in direct partnership with the CEO and other key stakeholders. Work with Formula Wellness partners and operations, clinical, and integration teams to help implement new partnership and acquisition deals. In coordination with the clinical and operations team, maintain contacts with new partners to ensure Formula Wellness can use them as positive references during new market transactions. Develop and maintain a high level of expertise, including trends, economics, and competitors within the medical aesthetic and clinical wellness industries. Develop presentation strategies and represent Formula Wellness at key regional and national medical aesthetic meetings and trade shows where like services are discussed and presented. Oversee regional development efforts in partnership with the operations team. Develop, maintain, and espouse an intimate knowledge of the company's services, goals, and values. The salary for this position will be a base salary plus commissions based on closed deals. Formula Wellness has partnered with BSM Consulting to conduct the recruiting process.
