Yard Hand - Construction
We are seeking a Yard Hand/Helper for our fleet and equipment yard to help with general duties such as maintaining a clean workspace, organizing, and inventory. Key Responsibilities:
- Pressure wash heavy equipment and work trucks.
- Inventory small tools, power equipment, and other supplies.
- Clear work areas of debris.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.
- Store materials properly to prevent damage or loss.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- -Identify and report potential hazards to supervisors.
- Some weekend work required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Be able to use technology such as iPads and tablets.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Prior construction experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift, move and stack objects up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to safely set and climb ladders.
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
