Corporate Staff Accountant
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting with general corporate accounting and cash management functions.Duties include preparing daily journal entries, period-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, and filing sales and use tax returns in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile corporate bank accounts each accounting period
Prepare daily and monthly journal entries for corporate bank accounts
Assist CFO with cash management and cash forecasting
Prepare wires, ACH&rsquos, transfers, and positive pay files
Manage bank accounts for restaurants
Review and analyze bank fees
Prepare monthly sales tax filings
Prepare various journal entries at period end for corporate accounts
Skills:
Multi-unit restaurant or retail experience preferred
Integrity, professional, proactive, and adaptable
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journal entries and financial reports
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Four (4) years of relevant experience
