Travel required 50% of the time to Austin, Texas

Work you'll do

Solution Architecture and Design:

• Support the design of scalable solutions using Oracle APEX to manage and optimize customer compensation plans and pay metrics.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and data models to support business requirements.
• Actively participate in technical design and data model workshops alongside Engineering Teams, Architect teams, and business stakeholders.
• Clearly translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.

Data Integration and ETL Processes:

• Create customer functionality using APEX to extend the functionality of vars Oracle applications -- Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation, CRM, and EDM
• Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data integration tasks.

Client Communication and Program Management:

• Adhere strictly to established project planning methodologies and Agile development processes.
• Participate in sessions to understand client needs in technical Fusion Incentive Compensation requirements, and act as a crucial technical resource throughout the implementation process.
• Assess client requirements, propose effective solutions, and communicate the capabilities and limitations of Fusion Incentive Compensation, EDM and other Oracle Cx applications.
• Identify client process pain points and gaps in current best practices.

Customization and Configuration:

• Customize Oracle APEX to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom attributes, segments, and data models.
• Configure data connectors and integrations to external systems and applications.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, sales, IT, and data science, to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to Oracle APEX, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle APEX solutions.

Documentation and Best Practices:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development, integration, and customization processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in customer data management, Oracle APEX and Orace Cx.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

The team

Client's Oracle Cx team helps organizations enable their go-to-market and coverage strategy by designing and deploying solutions that optimize sales effectiveness and performance. We focus on a variety of incentive compensation capabilities such as quota planning, compensation design, pay metric optimization, and performance analytics. Additionally, we design, build, and operate complex data ecosystems to support the incentive compensation function and enable related operational and analytical/predictive reporting.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years' experience developing and testing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX.

Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript.

Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.

Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes.

Relational Data modeling.

Knowledge of web application usability trends.

HTML5 / CSS knowledge.

Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment.

Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues. Proven experience in data integration, data management, and data analytics.

Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Oracle Database performance and tuning.

Experience integrating REST APIs into APEX applications.

Experience with FDI (Fusion Data Insights)

Web application security / Data security.

Experience with APIs and data integration tools.

Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.

Familiarity with Oracle EPM, Cx applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Partner track experience is a plus.
